Via filande 13- 30038 Spinea (VE), Italy Type: UBBELOHDE Marked: PSL ASTM-IP 1C Viscosimeter No: 3447 This viscosimeter has been calibrated aqgains traceable standards held at the Laboratory and the costant C was found to be: 0.02967 (mm2/s)/s This calibration was carried out at a temperature of 25°C with the capillary tube vertical in accordance with the general procedure given in ISO3104, ISO3105, BS188, IP Method 71 and ASTM Method D445. The kinematic viscosity v (mm2/s) of a liquid may be calculated from a mean measured flow time t (seconds) using the formula V = Ct The above formula applies when the flow time in this viscosimeter is not less than 200 seconds. UNITS: The SI unity of viscosity is the metre squared per second (m2/s). The reccomended sub-multiple is the mm2/s, where 1mm2/s 1 cSt (Centistokes) = 10-6m2/s. The reported expanded uncertainty is based on a standard uncertainty multiplied by a coverage factor k=2 providing a level of confidence of approximately 95%.
